Since 1993, Jim Palmer has provided clients with insight and wisdom on products and markets. After 13 years at FTN Financial, he and his group of professionals known as PLP Capital Markets joined Braver Stern Securities in 2007 and Blue Capital Securities (the predecessor firm that became Tribal Capital Markets, LLC) in 2014. During Mr. Palmer’s time in the industry, he has provided expert coverage to multibillion-dollar domestic depository institutions, government municipalities, and university pension and endowment funds as a fixed income strategist and portfolio advisor. His success is based on an interest in and dedication to providing expert counsel and the best range of products and services for each investor type. He continues to offer the savvy counsel of a seasoned industry veteran who has lived through several different rate cycles and seen the challenges depository investors face in each environment. Mr. Palmer has been a FINRA registered broker since 1993 and has worked with clients all across the U.S. including Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, and Washington. Mr. Palmer received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Memphis State University.
