Municipal Capital Markets
Jon recently joined Tribal Capital Markets as a Managing Director of Municipal Capital Markets and Co-Head of Municipal Sales and Trading where he and his partner, Arjan Roghanchi, are responsible for developing and growing the municipal fixed income department. His responsibilities include managing our Syndicate distribution on Negotiated and Competitive underwritings as well as providing secondary liquidity on behalf of our clients and issuers.
Jon started his career in the Financial and Economic segment of Huron Consulting Group, where he was responsible for developing models and analyses for high-profile Fortune 100 clients. He left Huron to assist with the liquidation of hedge funds at Kinetic Partners (now part of Duff & Phelps). Subsequent to this, Jon transitioned to trading municipal bonds at R. Seelaus & Co. in Summit, NJ. In 2014, Jon and Arjan went on to co-head the Municipal Department at Intercoastal Capital Markets. There, they built a team of municipal market professionals, added numerous institutional clients and successfully established an underwriting department that was co-manager on over $15BB in transactions.
Jon holds FINRA Series 7, 53 and 63 licenses.
